mailboxJOBS:

Once Mr. Barr turned 12 he worked at the Sunbury Post Office. The teacher would choose somebody to deliver the mail on Saturday mornings. There were only 3 houses on the other side of the railway and only a couple of shops, so there wasn't much mail, but it took 3 hours to deliver all the mail. Mr Barr and his friends would use the push bike from the post office to go rabbiting without the postmaster knowing. He found out because the rabbits got caught in the wheels and they forgot to clean it off.

The school was short of teachers so Mr Barr was asked to teach the younger kids. He earnt a pound a week. Then the little kids started calling him Teddy Bear and all his other nicknames and he didn't have any control over them. So the kids ended up taking over the class and he had to give the job away.
