Visual Arts
Each week, the students at Sunbury Primary School attend a one hour session in the Visual Arts building. It is a time dedicated to creation and developing the imagination. Students are encouraged to utilise a range of equipment to make, create, develop and explore. Thinking outside of the box is a necessary tool that we use to analyse thought provoking work and express feelings or ideas.
We are very proud to offer an Arts program that adapts to the needs and desires of our students. They have a significant input into directing the program so that it may compliment their personal interests and engage them in alternative thinking. These sessions are fundamental in providing a sound understanding of basic Visual Art, how this applies to the real world and most importantly; how they may utilise these skills in whatever path they choose for their future.
